The Secret Side of the Mint

Gambling in the back of the bar always brought in big business for the Mint. Even after¬†closing time, the poker, roulette and craps continued into the early¬†hours of the morning. In the early 1960’s, gambling was outlawed for good with the arrival of the new county attorney, who meant serious business.
