1930:: Riding Out The Storm

Due to economic times and strict law enforcement during the time of Prohibition, Oran Moore closed the Mint (then operatingĀ as the cigar and soda shop) in 1930. For the next four years, the building housed a variety of offices including a realty company, an auctioneer and a typewriter exchange – probably the last quiet times this building saw!
